Ms. Kathryn Jones is entering into her second year as principal of Bagdad Elementary School!

With 27 years of experience in education, Ms. Jones continues to bring her passion for fostering positive, supportive learning environments where every student can thrive.

A longtime member of the Bagdad community and a graduate of Bagdad High School, Ms. Jones holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, along with Master’s degrees in Education and Administration. Her strong educational background and deep local roots make her a valued leader and advocate for our students and families.

Over the past year, Ms. Jones has built meaningful relationships with staff, students, and parents, working together to create a school culture centered on growth, collaboration, and care. As she begins her second year, she remains committed to building academic growth, strengthening school partnerships, and making Bagdad Elementary a welcoming and enriching place for all learners.
